Educational Qualification: 

Applicants must have Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic or Metallurgical Engineering from esteemed University/ Institute.

Age Limit: 

Age of appliers should not be more than 27 years as on 01st September 2015 (Contenders born before 01/09/1988 are not eligible to apply). Candidates having two years’ full time Post Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration/ Management their age should be 29 years. Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved category as per Government Rules.

Application Fee: 

Applicants’ need pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- in the form of Challan at any of the SBI branches all over the country. SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen and Physically challenged candidates need not to pay any amount of fee.

Salary Scale: 

Selected applicants will receive during training period, basic pay of Rs 20600/- in the scale of pay of Rs 20600-46500/-. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers in the scale of pay of Rs.24900/- to Rs.50500/- with a basic pay of Rs 24900/-.

Selection Process:

Candidates selection will be basis of their performance in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2016. Based on the GATE-2016 Marks and requirement, aspirants will be selected for Interview.

Now open “Recruitment of Engineer Trainees – GATE 2016” link. Before applying, candidates are required to read the notification carefully. Thereafter hit on to “Apply Online” link. Fill it appropriately and upload scanned photograph and signature. After check the form submit it and take a print out of application form. Send it with BHEL Challan copy through ordinary post to the following address.
