IISc and seven other IITs invites GATE Application from Applicants who want to take admission in ME, M.Tech, PhD course. Applicants are required to apply for GATE 2016 Application Online Notification latest by 01st October 2015. Exam Dates & Eligibility are clarified below.

Applicants should have completed BE / B.Tech / B. Arch / M.Sc or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the test. Candidate in final year of their respective degree courses can also apply.

Application Fee:

General / OBC (Male Candidates) / Women / SC / ST / PWD Category applicants should have pay appropriate application fee. Fee should be paid through online mode by SBI I-Collect or Axis Bank I-Connect or by Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking or by e-Challan facilities.

Admission Process:

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering followed by other process of admission.

Exam Pattern for GATE 2015: 

Pattern will be as follows:

Examination contains two different types of questions

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Numerical Answer Questions.

How to apply: 

Talented students will have to visit the official website of GATE that is gate.iitk.ac.in.

On the home page go to the section as “GATE 2015” and then go to “Apply Online” link.

Navigate now to fill all the asked details in the online form.

Upload the scanned photograph and signature in appropriate size.

Now submit double cheek form before last date to receipt it.

Don’t forget to get hard copy of submitted form for further use till get the admission.
