Educational Qualification: 

For Group ‘C’: 12th pass with 50% marks or its equivalent or advanced education.

For Group ‘D’: 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or advanced education.

Age Limitation

Aspirants maximum age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Challenged Peoples will be given as per guidelines and regulations of Government of India.

Examination Fee

The examination fee to be paid through Indian Postal Order will be Rs. 100/- only. Totally women nominees, SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with 40% or above Disabilities, Minorities (Muslims, Christian, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians) and Economically Backward Class applicants are fully exempted from examination fees. Examination Cost will be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in the favor of ‘FA &CAO’ East Central Railway, and payable at Hajipur. Charges once paid, it will not be refunded under nay situations.

Scouts & Guides Requirements: 

A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (OR) A pre-HWB Trained Scout leader/ Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.

Must have been an energetic member of Scouts Association for at least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active.

Must have joined at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State Level (OR) must have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District Level.

Selection process

Qualified job applicants will have to go in Written Test (50 Marks), Scout & Guide qualification (35 Marks) and Character Test / Interview (15 Marks). Last Selection of job searchers for East Central Railway Recruitment will be done on basis of their performance in personal interview which will be conducted by the choice penal of association. No TA/ DA will be reimbursed to candidates.
