Direct Recruitment:	Aspirants for appointment as Munsiff-Magistrate by direct recruitment shall satisfy  following general conditions, namely Applicants must be a citizen of India Contenders should be holder of a degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for purpose of enrollment as an Advocate
Recruitment by Transfer	No officer in service shall be eligible for appointment as Munsiff-Magistrate by transfer, unless he is a holder of a degree in law A person who is otherwise qualified for appointment by transfer but is not holding any of the posts enumerated below at the time of his application for appointment by transfer, shall be eligible for appointment if he has held any one or more of such posts and is holding a post in a higher scale of pay in any of offices from which appointment is to be made. There is no age limit for candidates who opt for recruitment by transfer

Age Limit

Applicants age should not be less than 35 / 38 years

Age Relaxation will be given to reserved category as per government norms.

Salary Structure:

Contenders will earn good amount of monthly remuneration of Rs. 27,700 to Rs.44,770

Mode of Selection:

Selection of candidates will be based on competitive exam consisting of a written examination and a viva voice.
