Professor: 01 vacancy

Associate professor: 01 vacancy

Assistant professor: 03 vacancy

Essential Qualification:

For the post of Professor and Associate Professor, candidates must have completed PhD/Masters in relevant subject from recognized university or institute.

For post of Assistant Professor, candidates must have cleared the national Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET.

Experience:

Candidates must have Experience as per the UGC Norms.

Application fee:

General/ OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 300 and SC/ ST/ PH candidates have to pay Rs. 75. Application fee must be deposited through Demand Draft drawn in favor of The Registrar, University of Calcutta.

Pay scale:

For Professor: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + GP 10000

For Associate professor: Rs. 37,400 ‐ 67,000 +GP 9000

For Assistant professor: Rs 15,600 ‐ 39,100 + GP 6000

Mode of selection:

Personal interview session is the basis which is being chosen to make the selection of the applicants.
