Educational Qualification:

Professor	A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
Additional Professor	D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super-specialties and M.ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super-specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Age Limitations

Age of the candidates should not be above 50 years to apply. Candidates of OBC category will be applicable for 3 years relaxation and 5 years relaxation will be given to SC/ST candidates. In case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, age relaxation up to a maximum period of 5 years, for General Category, 8 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Selection Process

Candidates Selection will be based on their performance in Interview after screening of applications.
